About Nod
I was born and raised on the south-side of San Antonio, TX. I graduated in 2020 from Savannah College of Art and Design with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Animation and I'm preparing to become a character animator for tv series or movies. I'm inspired by stop-motion works Coraline of Henry Selick and Corpse Bride of Tim Burton, particularly the way their eccentric characters move based on their quirky designs and exaggerated personalities. Hoping to make memorable characters by experimenting with different mediums, particularly puppetry, and employ my tactile sense to understand how these characters should move and act. My art incorporates natural elements like flowers, plants, and insects in effort to explore the relationships between human beings and nature.
